A little background
I’m jumping back in the game of school from a 13 year hiatus, which I think I read in another blog post. You’re not alone! 2018 was a total game changer. I knew I wanted to go back to school but for what? In January 2018 both my grandmothers passed. I had a solo show two weeks after and decided to travel back to Eastern Europe and the Middle East. A lot was leading up to this. I lost to matriarchs and I wasn’t necessarily close. I knew of them strong immigrant women with different circumstances than my own. I decided to go on an artist pilgrimage to their motherland. Something went off in me. I was curious about everything and everyone. I mean I love traveling but this seemed different. I was on an exploration of the past present and future me. My own pilgrimage through self exploration. This really amped up my decision of my future learning choices. I want to make deeper impacts and help others reach a more fuller audience. There is so many amazing things happening in the world and I would like to focus on those and be more solutions based. For example on my travels through Jordan I met a group of women working with women refugees from Syria. They are create a women artist program to help them earn a living in such difficult times. My friend recently reached out with what it is doing for the women there and it was amazing. Their health as gone up. I want to connect this information to others. Hence part of my reason for starting school.
The blog I chose to read and write about is Feminist Philosophy.

This article speaks to me. I feel I can relate to this type of writing. How it’s more factual that others likes and dislikes. This comeback that older women are making is inspiring and I feel it is really important for younger women to see this.
One Environmental issues in Chicago within the past decade.
The fight for the coal plant to be shut down was a huge feet. Through many that were sick and mothers fighting for their children’s health. I remember smelling the coal near me and is was 4 miles away. I remember protesting many years. It was a women in charge fighting for her community. Here below is just a demonstration that happened in 2013.
Conclusion
This has been really great form of expression for me and I hope you enjoyed a little teaser into some of my passion and maybe you have some ideas to help me deepen my blog.
